An absolutely fantastic set of pictures from Colin’s son Nick who went on a mission for us yesterday to photograph the points change at Teignmouth. I’m certain you’ll find these interesting and informative as to whats been happening.
Inconvenient as it is having no rail service for the weekend these pictures taken by Nick Campbell show just how much labour and plant equipment have been busy at work removing the worn track and laying a new foundation of stone before being able to relay the new rail. This is currently taking place between Teignmouth station and Shaldon Bridge.
