A few shots and a commentary from Colin of today’s visit of 950001. I’ve also included a few viewers pictures from the last few days for you to enjoy.

Track Recording Unit 950001 almost at Dawlish on it’s journey down from Derby to Plymouth Laira. This unit is designed to test the track of the smaller lightly laid branch lines where it would be impractical to send the heavyweight HST that we normally see along the sea wall fortnightly on a Friday. The driver seemed to have a better plan than the RHTT timetable as it started out from Derby 82 minutes late and arrived at Laira 65 minutes early! Colin Campbell
