After being somewhat spoilt this week with The Great Britain IX Tour i’m only able to offer you a Diesel special this weekend. Saturday 30th see’s the Cornish Explorer passing the cameras. It is due to be top and tailed by two class 47/57 locomotives on it’s journey from Chester to Penzance and back to Chester. The first pass is due at 1042 with headcode 1Z88 and the return at 1802 with Headcode 1Z89. As always we will be grateful for any pictures or videos that are posted to our Facebook page and available to share with all Dawlish Beach followers.
A quick heads up for the following Saturday is that we have The Western Challenger due with D1015 Western Champion running from Paddington to Plymouth and back via Okehampton.
