I have to admit it’s great to have Colin and his camera back! I hope he doesn’t mind me saying but he’s been away enjoying his birthday so many happy returns Colin Campbell!
Today has been fairly busy with the unusuals on the wall. We have had the two engineering trains return, 37219 running by with the test train, the clay tanks and more engineers later on this evening i believe. As far as the weather front is concerned, well, we started with another beautiful sunrise and much promise but as you’ll see from the photo’s and videos, the further the day has gone on, the worse the weather has become. You really can tell it’s Devon County show time!

First to pass this morning was Colas 70807 returning with rails from Par to Westbury and things were still rather pleasant for a morning walk. Even the spider popped out for a quick “Hello” as spotted by Eric Bray.
The video shows class 70 returning past Blenheim camera.
