A little nippy but a lovely sunny morning with clear blue skies welcomed the New Measurement Train at Dawlish as it passed on it’s fortnightly track testing run. It started it’s working diagram at Old Oak Common depot in London and is heading for Penzance before returning to Paignton. From there it will travel up to Bristol, back to Taunton then on to Paddington and finally back to it’s base at Derby. A circuit starting at 5.25am and finishing at almost 2am tomorrow. The early morning sun making this a very colourful scene. HST Loco numbers were 43014 &43062.
