It’s been a very difficult two weeks for us here at Dawlish Beach but finally after days of phone calls and emails to and from BT, we have finally got the fibre reinstated.

Tomorrow (22nd February 2017) we should finally be able to get San Remo Camera back online and not only that, it has been repaired so the buzzing noise has gone.

We were going to install a newer camera but the angle was too wide and distorted the image too much. We are looking at replacing the lens on this camera and installing it at a new location soon.

We would really like to thank you for being patient with us during this time as the issue was through no fault of our own,

Using the normal channels to escalate the issues was getting us nowhere†so I emailed Sir Michael Rake, the Chairman of BT.

As a result of this, Shona McCann was put in charge of resolving our complaint and she went above and beyond to get this working for us.

In some phone calls prior to talking to Shona, we were told it could be weeks or maybe even months until our service was running but Shona resolved this in under 1 week of us contacting†Sir Michael Rake.
