Fresh back from it’s testing period Colas’s latest purchase was at work on what I believe was it’s 1st revenue earning service by powering 10 autoballast wagons from Westbury to Plymouth. It is due to return around 4 am
The video was taken as it passed through Teignmouth by our night owl Nick. Following on in the video are the webcam recordings of last night’s working which was powered by Colas 66847, when the consist was in operating mode using the rear 5 wagons to offload ballast alongside the track on the Dawlish sea wall section as it passed on its way to Plymouth.
