Tonight’s infrastructure continuous welded rail train certainly wasn’t hanging about, traveling at passenger speed as it passed through Dawlish and Teignmouth. It was hauled by DB Cargo locos in top and tail formation by 66055 named  “Alain Thauvette” at the head and 66087 on the rear. The destination Burngullow Jnc is just beyond St. Austell in Cornwall. They are due to return through Dawlish at 9.28 am tomorrow but these times can never be relied on as “Gospel”. Unfortunately Nick didn’t have time to get his digital camera ready and almost missed with the video. The train had only taken slightly under 3 minutes to get to Teignmouth from Dawlish. We hope you enjoy the video taken by the DawlishBeach.com web cameras.
