Normally this train with its livery matched GBRf locomotives is used for rail tours within Scotland but each year there has been a seven night tour of Great Britain visiting Culloden Battlefield near Inverness, Chester, A steam trip on the Welsh Highland Railway, Bath, Oxford, Cambridge, York and a gala dinner at Alnwick Castle to name but a few. The locomotives are 66743 and 66726. There is an observation car at one end of the ten coach train which features an open veranda where the passengers can see where they have been or have a very close up view of a locomotive if it happens to be traveling in that direction! The train had overnighted at Gloucester leaving at 4.17am to come down to Newton Abbot where the loco’s changed from one end to the other, and then made its way up to Bath. It passed through Dawlish at 6.47 and 7.43am
