Five Colas Class 70 locomotives were used over the weekend 23-25th November for Rail Replacement duties around St Pinnock viaduct between Liskeard and Lostwithiel in Cornwall. Locomotives were Colas 70806/7/10/15/17 plus DB Cargo 66007 (nicknamed “James Bond”) Nick Campbell videoed them passing through Teignmouth station. They will all return to Westbury late evening Sunday and very early morning Monday morning.
The last item on the video shows the Rail Head Treatment Train at work power washing the rail heads as it passes through Teignmouth station today. Locomotives are DB Cargo 66104 and 66200. Pictured below when they were on Dawlish sea wall on Friday 23rd along with a very irresponsible family group illegally riding their cycles on the wall.
