Yesterday it was rather bleak with a bitterly cold wind and today there was little wind and a sunny 11C as I went to record today’s lunchtime sand train. This time the lead locomotive 66126 was in the old EWS livery and the second loco 66044 in the new DB Cargo red livery. Looks like National Rail need to get a bit of a move on with their plans to renew the Groynes! Perhaps the three orange army men in the picture are sizing up the task. Pictures below are a comparison between the two days. A bit of sun works wonders.
