Yet more HST Mk3 coaches leaving Laira for Papworth Sidings at Ely for storage. ROG sent down two of their Class 47 diesels with two Barrier vans from Leicester yesterday to make this movement today 11th April.  The locomotives,47813 named “Jack Frost” was at the head of the train with 47815 “Lost Boys 68-88” behind and are seen first as they pass under the very low headroom of Shaldon Bridge and enter the dock area of Teignmouth. The second part of the video records them passing under the Rockstone footbridge on Dawlish Sea Wall. Unfortunately as is often the case this type of rail traffic suffers from having to give priority to Passenger trains. Its progress had been held up firstly at Hemerdon and then from Newton Abbot by the local Paignton to Exmouth service before it could pass it  when the local made its stop at Dawlish Warren.
