This weekend gives us a treat of two tours passing the cameras. Here are the full details.

Saturday 29th June see’s the visit of two class 37 locos hauling Pathfinder tours Mazey Day Cornishman from Tame Bridge Parkway to Penzance. Times past Dawlish are booked as 1005 with the return at 1901.

Always popular and usually noisy the DRS class 37’s are always well received on this annual tour that sets off at 0539 and doesn’t get you back until 2327. That’s a long day!

The second tour is a repeat of Saphos trains English Riviera Express with 34046 Braunton providing the traction once again. The tour is from Bristol Temple Meads to Kingswear via the Dartmouth Steam Railway’s tracks. Times through Dawlish are booked as 1133 with the return at 1742.

This is a repeat of the tour from a couple of weeks ago that saw Braunton return to it’s original identity after masquerading as Lord Dowding for the last few years.
