On Sunday 15th evening the Westbury to St. Budeaux Network Rail Infrastructure train could be seen passing through Dawlish and Teignmouth top and tailed by GBRf’s 66790 & 66789. Somewhat unusual was that the consist was made up with rail, sleepers and autoballaster wagons rather than being conveyed separately. Of interest to the rail fans was the first appearance here of the leading loco 66790 which was previously based in Sweden and the rear loco 66789 which is in the retro British Rail blue livery with large arrows logo. The train is due to return to Westbury tomorrow Tuesday 17th passing Dawlish at 6.19pm .Unfortunately this is also in the dark hours making photography very difficult as well as for our webcam footage. The pictures below are screenshots taken from the video.
