For the last 10 days or so there has been a lot of infrastructure trains from Westbury to the Penzance area where the line between there and Truro has been closed to Passenger traffic for several days. Buses have operated in the meantime. Class 66  and class 70 from Colas, Freightliner and DB Cargo have been used with many of them being top and tailed. Unfortunately a lot of them ran in very unsociable night-times and things were made worse in daylight for our cameras by the driving rain. The video shows a selection of trains recorded over this period and finishes with  triple DRS locomotives hauling two passenger staff coaches en route to Devonport docks. Locos recorded in the order of the video are Colas 70802, DB Cargo 66014 with Colas 66849 “Wylam Dilly”, DB Cargo 66001 & 66002 and 66155 & 66151 still in their RHTT covering of muck! Lastly DRS 66432, 66422 and 66421 named “Gresty Bridge TMD”  after the DRS depot in Crewe.
