On Wednesday 24th August, we were treated to a special charter by Vintage Trains running from Dorridge to Plymouth, and it will be powered by diesel Class 50050 Fearless.
This locomotive is owned by Boden Rail and has recently been through a lengthy overhaul and thorough refurbishment and is in the Rail Blue livery of British Rail.

It passed through Dawlish at 11.13 am and returned at 5:59 pm.
